OWI (Operating While Intoxicated)

Also known as the Intoxicated Driver Program

If you or someone you know has been convicted of operating while intoxicated, we can help. The goal of the Oneida County Human Services OWI program is to provide support and services to prevent driving while impaired through education and treatment as part of a Driver’s Safety Plan.

Any resident of Forest, Oneida, or Vilas counties is eligible to receive services, even if they have received the OWI citation from a different county. Our OWI Assessor is a professional trained to evaluate the needs of each individual and based on these needs, develop a safety plan. The safety plan may include requirements such as counseling or education, or both.
